Andy Dalton
Starting Grade: A
Although Dalton hasn't reached 250 yards passing in the past five games, he has
thrown or rushed for multiple touchdowns eight times this season. The Eagles
have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in eight straight games and 10 out of
their last 11.
Projected Stats: 230 yards 2TD 1INT
BenJarvus Green Ellis
Starting Grade: B
The law firm followed up his three straight weeks of over 100 yards with a 12
carry 89 yard performance against the staunch Cowboys defense. He will find the
goings a little easier this week. The Eagles rushing defense just gave up 128 yards to Doug
Martin. With that said, Martin was the first back to go over 100 yards this season.
BGE does have a better than average chance at finding the end zone this week.
The Eagles have allowed eight rushing scores to their opponents top rusher this
year.
Projected Stats: 20 carries 90 yards TD
AJ Green
Starting Grade: A
Green has topped 100 yards or scored in all but three games this season. The
Eagles pass defense has allowed eight straight number one receivers to find the
end zone…well actually seven, but Julio Jones went ape quack against the Eagles
to the tune of 123 yards and a touchdown so we are counting his contribution.
Projected Stats: 6 rec 83 yards TD
Jermaine Gresham
Starting Grade: B-
Gresham is a middle of the road start this week. The Eagles allow around 55
yards per game to opposing tight ends and that is about where Gresham will
grade out this week.
Projected Stats: 5 rec 56 yards
Josh Brown
Starting Grade: B
Brown was a perfect 4-for-4 in the field and will produce once again this week.
A 9-12 point performance will likely be the case for Brown.
Defense/Special Teams
Starting Grade: A
The Eagles are near the top when it comes to opponent fantasy D/STs. They have
turned the ball over 29 times and they don't score. The Bengals defense has
allowed a tick over 12 points per game down the stretch and this match up looks
good from a Bengals perspective.
Nick Foles
Starting Grade: C
Foles most likely reached his fantasy ceiling last week against Tampa Bay when
he threw for 381 yards and two touchdowns. He will likely land back where he
had been the previous four weeks as the Bengals defense has played very well
the past five weeks allowing two passing touchdowns over that span.
Projected
Stats: 225 yards TD, INT
Bryce Brown
Starting Grade: B+
After a debut not seen since Chris Jericho entered the WWE, Bryce Brown ran
wild for 347 yards and four touchdowns in his first two games. Then when owners
began to forget about LeSean McCoy, Brown put up a Chris Johnson performance against the Bucs.
Brown carried 12 times for just six times and ended many of his owners fantasy
seasons. He'll get back on the horse this week and will climb back toward his
first two game numbers. He won't hit 100 yards, but will probably find the end
zone.
Projected Stats: 20 carries 92 yds, TD
Jeremy Maclin
Starting Grade: B
Maclin had a great day against the Bucs catching nine balls for 104 yards and
even found the end zone for the first time since week 10. He should be a solid
play again this week as Nick Foles top target with both Brent Celek and DeSean
Jackson both out.
Projected Stats: 6 rec 95 yards, TD
Alex Henry
Starting Grade: B
There are pros and cons to kicking for a team that just doesn't score. The good
news for Heny owners is that he is 23-for-26 in field goals. The bad news is
that two of the misses came last week against Tampa Bay. A 6-10 point week puts
Henry in the middle of the pack this week.
Defense/Special Teams
Starting Grade: D-
We went ahead and just removed the ‘d' from Phila-elphia. There really wasn't
anything there anyway. Seriously, you aren't still alive if you have the
Eagles, so let's not waste each other's time.
