Great! I'm 0-2, now what?

Posted: Updated:

I kept my cool after my week one loss, then watched as my team got destroyed by Victor Cruz in week two. There is after all a Victor in victory.

Great, I'm 0-2. Now what?

No matter how you got there, the sad reality is it should be me that tied one on after last nights Monday night game and not Michael Turner. I hate the fact that Marques Colston hasn't gotten into the end zone and could someone please tell the posse responsible for Dez Bryant off the field that they could loosen up and let him play on gameday? My team is in no way perfect, but for the very few times in my three decades playing fantasy football here's the bigger problem.

I love my team.

There is the automatic overreaction period that I need to do something quick or I might become the first team in our leagues history to do what Detroit did. I am not going donut for the season. I have been offered three trades by my co-worker here at the FV ranch and although I felt like a old west gunslinger have not yet hit the trigger. The problem is he sees how desperate I am at 0-2.

My one saving grace is that I face another 0-2 squad this week. His luck is worse than mine. Had Turner not stumbled his way into the endzone following the Falcons first drive, he would have won last week. You are going down this week Commish!

Maybe.

My luck, Chris Johnson will have his one good week of the year despite over a season of actual game statistics that scream otherwise. Eli Manning might score more points than my team combined after his fourth quarter explosion last week.

So, here's my game plan on Tuesday as I jot this absolutely burned that I am winless. I'm standing pat with what I have. I'm going to battle with AP, and Greasy Lynch. Against my better judgement, I am going to give Dez Bryant one more shot. I just hope he didn't burn up and fight he had left with his three round exhibition bout with his mom earlier this summer.

Fellow 0-2 teams unite. Don't panic...until we're 0-3.
