The third and final fantasy
draft special airs tonight on FOX 9 at 9:30. Paul Charchian and Paul Allen
saved the best for last.
The
boys looked heavily at the quarterback position and the epic sinking of Michael
Vick. Looked at as the overall top QB in many of last years drafts, Vick has
fallen to fantasy mediocrity.
"Mike Vick has played in the league for nine years, he's topped three rushing
touchdowns only three times," said Charchian. "In his nine years, Vick has
never topped 21 passing touchdowns."
Larry Fitzgerald is regarded as one of the best receivers in the NFL, his
fantasy value is hampered by the not so dynamic duo of Skelton and Kolb or Kolb
and Skelton. If it sounds like a bad band from the 70's, the fantasy tune for
Fitz this year will likely be the same as last year.
"Any wide receiver is at the mercy of his quarterback," said Allen. "The Arizona quarterbacks have
played poorly this preseason."
The running back rankings haven't changed too much although Charch did make a
late adjustment and Adrian Peterson is now on the back end of the top 10. We'll
find out this week if the Vikings best player will return to action in week
one.
The show is packed with tons of useful info for you to take with you into your
drafts this weekend.
