San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco 49ers

Week Four Analysis: For those of you who spent too much at your auction or drafted a defense (namely the 49ers defense) too early, this should be your lesson. The Niners have accounted for only four turnovers and five sacks this season, giving them pretty awful counting stats. If they were shutting teams out with those numbers it would be one thing, but they've allowed 19 or more points in each game this season. This week they visit the Mark Sanchez-led Jets who have scored fewer points each week. I like the Niners to bounce back after a let-down in Minnesota.

Week Three Analysis:
Why aren't the Niners higher this week? It's because the Vikings seemed to have solve some of the problems that have been plaguing them for years. First, the offensive line is much improved with Matt Kalil. Second, Christian Ponder has not thrown an interception in his last three starts. Last, the Vikings only have one total turnover this season. They've been holding the ball well and executing a conservative offensive scheme. Will they score against the Niners? Maybe not. They will do their best not to beat themselves though.
