Mason Crosby

Mason Crosby

Week Four Analysis: If you believe in betting against a cold squad, no team is more frigid than the New Orleans Saints who head to the not-yet frozen tundra of Green Bay this weekend. Last week the Saints allowed Ryan Succop to kick six field goals. Mason Crosby hasn't had six field goal attempts this season. The Packers have plenty of motivation to demolish a team this weekend and I look for a high scoring affair at Lambeau this weekend.

Week Two Analysis:
Mason Crosby didn't get a lot of work last weekend, although he was a live witness of David Akers' record tying 63-yard boink through the uprights. If scoring points against the Bears is what you're worried about, know that Crosby kicked eight extra points against Chicago in only two games last year.

Week One Analysis: While some have devised their entire draft strategy to acquire Mason Crosby, I've tempered my expectations on the Packers' place kicker a bit going into Week 1. While Crosby kicked an amazing 68 extra points last year (which led the NFL), he only made 24 field goals, which tied him for 17th place. Games early in the season tend to be lower scoring affairs, and if this one is not, the Pack are going to be raining down touchdown passes, not attempting four or five field goals.

NEXT: #4 David Akers
