Paul Charchian's Top Drops - Week 5

Brandon Coleman  - Brandon Coleman has seen his snap count drop in four straight weeks.  While ostensible still a "starter", it's in name only. Last week he was on the field for just 19 plays, fewest among the team's receivers.

Marcus Wheaton –  I was shocked to see that Marcus Wheaton is still rostered in 55% of leagues. He's hurt, Mike Vick is his quarterback, and Martavis Bryant is coming back this week.

DeVante Parker – Increasingly it looks like Parker just isn't going to be a factor in the Miami offense. This offense is so dysfunctional, maybe nobody is.  Parker's play count had been on the rise, but frustratingly, it dipped again last week, down to just 23 plays. And I'm increasingly of the opinion that there's just too many mouths to feed among the Dolphins receivers.

Roddy White – I had Roddy White as one of my drops last week, but then I reconsidered, figuring I'd give him one more week.  That additional week was good for two receptions for eight yards.  I'm confident that he'll have some good games this year, but at this point, it's impossible to guess when those will happen.

Tre Mason – The Todd Gurley era began last Sunday.  The Tre Mason era ended.
