Week 17 Kicker Rankings

Written/ranked by Daniel House

1. Stephen Gostkowski @ MIA
Stephen Gostkowski has notched the fourth-most attempts (34) and is averaging three field goals per game over his last three matchups. He’s missed just two kicks this season and has yet to miss an extra point as he enters the final week. What’s more, he’s tallied multiple attempt performances in five consecutive appearances against the Dolphins.

2. Chandler Catanzaro vs. SEA
Chandler Catanzaro has accumulated multiple field goal performances in nine of his last ten contests. Despite the success off the Arizona offense, Catanzaro is still averaging roughly four extra point tries per game over that stretch. Not to mention, in each of his last three matchups against Seattle, he’s booted two or more attempts.

3. Cairo Santos vs. OAK
Cario Santos is tied for the most attempts (37) and has two or more field goals in three of his last four contests. In three of his last four games against the Raiders, he has multiple field goal performances.  What’s more, the no defense has allowed more field goals (42) than the Raiders defense. This includes a whopping 12 tries over the last three weeks of play.

4. Graham Gano vs. TB
Graham Gano has notched back-to-back games with two or more total attempts. Additionally, he’s averaging roughly five extra points per game over the last four contests. Gano has booted eleven field goals in three total appearances against the Bucs. Finally, Tampa Bay has surrendered the fourth-most field goals.

5. Steven Hauschka @ ARZ
As the Seahawks offense has been booming, Steven Hauschka’s production hasn’t been as consistent. He has just one multiple attempt performance in each of his last six contests. You can see the definite plateau of the Seahawks offense near the midpoint of the season. Before his recent lull, he had two or more field goals per game in four consecutive contests. What’s more, Hausckha has multiple field goal performances in five straight matchups against the Cardinals. In addition, Arizona has allowed two or more field goals in two of the last four games.

6. Josh Brown vs. PHI
Josh Brown has tallied two or more field goals in two of his last four contests. He’s missed two kicks in that stretch, but he was perfect before that. New York’s offense is in ruins and some of the only offense they can muster is off the foot of Brown. However, Philly has surrendered multiple field goal performances in two of the last three games.

7. Blair Walsh @ GB
Minnesota fans are about ready to rip Blair Walsh’s head off as he misses a few sporadic extra points. Nonetheless, he picked up his third five field goal performance of the season. What’s more, he has eight attempts over the last three games. Finally, the Packers have allowed two or more field goals per game in two of their last four contests.

8. Brandon McManus vs. SD
Brandon McManus’ game-winning attempt last week looked like a Charles Barkley tee-shot. That ball was shanked and heading towards the mile-high trees. However, he has multiple field goal performances in four of his last five games. The Chargers have surrendered two or more field goals in three of their last four contests.

9. Chris Boswell @ CLE
Chris “Bosley” Boswell has a full-head of hair and hasn’t had to pull any out in frustration.
He has seven attempts over the last three weeks and multiple field goals in six of his last seven games. Earlier in the season against Cleveland, he had three field goals and he has been extremely consistent this season.

10. Mason Crosby vs. MIN
Mason Crosby booted four field goals last week and has multiple field goal performances in six of his last seven matchups. Not to mention, he notched a whopping five attempts in an earlier matchup with the Vikings.

11. Dustin Hopkins @ DAL
Dustin Hopkins has gone three consecutive weeks without two or more field goals. His last multiple attempt performance came when he notched four against the Cowboys in week 13. The Redskins might take the foot off the gas a little this week, which means Hopkins could see more action.

12. Jason Myers @ HOU
Jason Myers had a stretch of four games where he notched three or more field goal tries. Following that stretch of matchups, he has accumulated just two field goals, but that’s because the Jags have been blown out.

13. Shayne Graham vs. NO
Since joining Atlanta, Shayne Graham has posted three or more field goals in three consecutive games. He’s added a pair of extra points in two of those games and has become a formidable option at kicker. What’s more, New Orleans has surrendered a multiple field goal performance in every game this year.

14. Dan Bailey vs. WSH
Dan Bailey has tallied the fifth-most attempts (32) and he’s added consecutive three field goal performances. He booted four field goals in an earlier matchup with Washington and has been one of the most consistent kickers this year.

15. Sebastian Janikowski @ KC
The Seabass has accumulated two or more field goals in consecutive contests. His action has increased as the Oakland offense has started to falter. Additionally, Kansas City has allowed two or more field goals in two of their last three contests.

Streamer Special:
Connor Barth @ CAR

Connor Barth is averaging two field goals per game over his last three contests. Not to mention, he’s added at least a pair of extra points over that same stretch. What’s more, the Panthers surrendered their first multiple attempt performance in three games last week.
