6-year-old replies to Legoland job with handwritten note

In what is one of the most adorable resumes ever submitted, six-year-old Stanley Bolland of England responded to a job posting for Legoland Windsor.

As reported by the BBC, the company was looking for experience in product design, IT and design packages, as well as an "interest or knowledge about Lego and creation of Lego models". The job offered a "competitive annual salary", 20 days of vacation, and perhaps the biggest perk of all to a kid-- a 40% discount on Lego kits.

Stanley wrote a handwritten application reading: "Dear Sir/Madam, I am six years old and I love Lego [and] have a box of it. I hide my Lego so my brother can’t get it. I am the man [for] the job because I have lots of experience. Love, Stanley.”

He didn’t get hired, but he did get a response -- which isn’t a guarantee when you’re job hunting.

The company replied: "Loving Lego is the first step to being a model maker, so it certainly sounds like you'll be perfect for the job (once you've finished school of course).

According to the Huffington Post, Stanley was also invited to shadow a staff member and carry out “checks and repairs” at the theme park.
