Over the past month, Toby Gerhart’s combination of power running and capable receiving has boosted his fantasy stock for the foreseeable future. Last week he carried 11 times for 109 yards in relief of Adrian Peterson, and in his previous three outings he’d totaled 15 catches for 107 yards and three scores. Chicago’s stingy run defense hasn’t allowed an opposing back to reach 75 rushing yards in their last 10 games. Still, Minnesota’s offense will likely run through Gerhart, so he should amass serviceable numbers due to sheer volume.
