In four games prior to last week, Ryan Mathews had scored three times and averaged 128 combo yards. Clearly, his 74 scoreless combo yards against Detroit were not what fantasy owners had in mind. Moreover, he’s now dealing with a calf injury that could hamper an otherwise outstanding rebound opportunity. Oakland ranks in the bottom ten against opposing backs in rushing yardage, receiving yardage and total touchdowns, so he’s startable if he’s healthy.
