DeAngelo Williams has scored six times in Carolina’s last five games, while Jonathan Stewart has scored just twice in their last eight. This is an odd development, considering that Stewart remains the shortyardage and pass-catching back. He’s still getting roughly half the
work, depending on the week, and he should see an uptick in usage this week against a Saints defense that ranks in the bottom six in both
receiving yards and receiving touchdowns allowed to the position. Still, Stewart is nothing more than a flex play.
